The CNC Vertical Turning Lathes type VT/M are designed for machining by turning (VT -Series) and milling (VTM – Series) medium size castings and fabrics of various shapes, such as components for power and metallurgical equipment. The main operation that can be performed are: internal and external cylindrical turning; • frontal turning with constant speed; • internal and external circular slots; • curved surfaces machining following their outlines; • circular and radial milling; • enlarging, boring, drilling, chamfering, threading. The machines may be used both for rough and finishing operations. |

STANDARD FEATURES • The main assemblies of the machine such as the table, the bed, the cross rail are of special construction with an optimum structure distribution that allows for maximum resistance and stability • The columns and the cross rail are box-type units, heavily ribbed. • The columns and cross rail are of box-type made of quality cast iron, and the guide ways of heat treated alloyed steels providing high stiffness versus twisting and bending. • Motors for main spindle driving and for feed driving are AC type with steps adjustable speed, SIEMENS made. • Linear scales (on X and Z axis) and rotary encoders HEIDENHAIN. • Hydraulic elements ATOS • Centralized lubrication installation • Coolant system (low pressure) |
